What the numbers show

Emirates NBD's income statement for Q2 2026, the three months to 30 Jun 2026, shows net profit of AED 6,416 million attributable to equity holders of the parent company. Net interest income, the bank's own subtotal that includes net income from Islamic financing and investment products, was AED 9,539 million. Together with non-interest income it made total operating income of AED 13,532 million.

Over FY2021 to FY2025, net interest income rose from AED 16,925 million to AED 35,502 million, a compound annual growth rate of 20.3% by our calculation. Operating expenses grew more slowly than total operating income, so the cost-to-income ratio, our calculation, fell from 33.5% to 30.5%. Net profit grew by 26.7% a year over the same span, our calculation. FY2022 operating expenses carry R, because a later report prints that figure with another value.

Emirates NBD's balance sheet shows total assets of AED 741,962 million at the end of FY2022 and AED 1,164,442 million at the end of FY2025. Customer deposits rose from AED 502,953 million to AED 786,024 million between those dates. Total shareholders' equity, which includes Tier 1 capital notes, rose from AED 93,199 million to AED 144,582 million.

Loans, net of expected credit losses, rose from AED 416,604 million at the end of FY2022 to AED 632,847 million at the end of FY2025. The loan-to-deposit ratio, our calculation, was 82.8% at the end of FY2022, 75.2% at the end of FY2024 and 80.5% at the end of FY2025. It reached 83.7% at 30 Jun 2026, a date whose balances include RBL Bank, an Indian bank the group took control of in June 2026. The Emirates NBD stock fundamentals page follows loans and deposits by quarter.

A bank's cash flow statement follows its balance sheet closely, and Emirates NBD counts changes in customer deposits and in loans and receivables as operating activities. Cash from operating activities was an outflow of AED 19,058 million in FY2025, after an inflow of AED 57,442 million in FY2024. Dividends paid, AED 6,311 million in FY2025, sit under financing activities. The Q2 2026 figures are the half-year total less Q1, marked D, and show an operating inflow of AED 10,236 million.

Earnings were AED 3.71 per share in FY2025, against AED 1.38 per share in FY2021. Q2 2026 earnings were AED 1.00 per share, against AED 0.98 per share in Q2 2025. The diluted share count was 6,311 million shares in each year from FY2021 to FY2025. The bank's note on earnings per share adjusts profit for interest on Tier 1 capital notes, so the figure is below net profit divided by that count.

Every figure comes from Emirates NBD's published financial statements. Derived values are marked D and explained below.

Interim and annual financial statements (FY2021 to Q2 2026)
Period covered
8 quarters and 5 fiscal years
Calculations
TTM = sum of the last 4 quarters. Q4 = fiscal year minus the nine-month YTD. Operating income = net interest income + non-interest income. Cost-to-income = operating expenses ÷ operating income (our calculation).
Restatements
FY2022 operating expenses, an input of the FY2022 ratio, was restated or reclassified in Emirates NBD financial statements approved (originally AED 9,255 m). Restated or reclassified figures carry the R marker; its footnote gives the originally reported value.

Re-keying
Figures keyed from the issuer's published statements (PDF) with our entry tool, then checked by code against the PDF's own text (the figure on its cited page, in the row with its printed label) and by our fact-check step. The column and the sign are recorded, and lists any mismatch for review.
