Arrows show direction of change only, not whether a change is good or bad.
NVIDIA's gross margin, our calculation, stayed between 72.4% and 75.0% in 7 of the 8 quarters; the exception was Q1 FY2026, at 60.5%. NVIDIA's Form 10-Q for that quarter says the US government informed it on 9 Apr 2025 that exporting its H20 products to China requires a licence.[6] The report attributes the lower gross margin primarily to a USD 4.5 billion charge associated with H20 excess inventory and purchase obligations.[6] It names the initial ramp of more sophisticated systems within Data Center as the other primary cause.[6]
NVIDIA's operating margin, our calculation, was 49.1% in Q1 FY2026 and 66.2% in Q2 FY2027. Over the trailing 12 months (TTM) to 26 Jul 2026, it was 65.2%. That is above the 62.4% high of NVIDIA's annual operating margins for FY2022 to FY2026. The rest of the quarterly income statement, from research and development to tax, is on the NVIDIA financial statements page.
How did NVIDIA's 10-for-1 stock split of June 2024 change its per-share figures?
After NVIDIA's 10-for-1 stock split of June 2024, we divide each per-share figure from an earlier filing by 10 and multiply each share count by 10. FY2022 diluted EPS therefore reads USD 0.385 per share and the diluted share count 25,350 million shares. The FY2022 Form 10-K reported USD 3.85 per share and 2,535 million shares.[11]

1 As presented in Form 10-K filed .
NVIDIA's Form 10-Q for Q2 FY2025 says the additional shares from the split were distributed after the close of market on 7 Jun 2024.[12] NVIDIA's FY2022 Form 10-K already reflected a 4-for-1 stock split, executed on 19 Jul 2021, with per-share amounts adjusted for it.[11] So the FY2022 figures need only the 2024 adjustment and are the only ones marked A, for adjusted. The FY2023 and FY2024 figures come from the FY2025 Form 10-K, which already shows them on the post-split basis.[7]
NVIDIA raised its quarterly cash dividend to USD 0.01 per share on a post-split basis on 7 Jun 2024, according to its Form 10-Q for Q2 FY2025.[12] On the post-split basis, dividends declared were USD 0.016 per share in each of FY2022 to FY2024, then rose in FY2025 and again in FY2026. The diluted share count fell in each fiscal year after FY2022, to 24,514 million shares in FY2026.
How did NVIDIA's buybacks change from FY2022 to FY2026?
NVIDIA made no share buybacks in FY2022 and spent USD 40.1 billion on them in FY2026, the year ended 25 Jan 2026. On 18 May 2026, its board approved an additional USD 80.0 billion of repurchase authorisation.[1] The same day, it raised its quarterly cash dividend from USD 0.01 per share to USD 0.25 per share.[1]

Of the 5 fiscal years from FY2022 to FY2026, only FY2023 had buybacks larger than free cash flow. NVIDIA spent USD 10.0 billion on buybacks that year, against free cash flow of USD 3.81 billion. In FY2026, free cash flow was USD 96.7 billion (our calculation). NVIDIA's FY2026 10-K shows cash from operations of USD 103 billion and capital expenditure of USD 6.04 billion.[3]
NVIDIA's dividends paid went from USD 399 million in FY2022 to USD 974 million in FY2026. Buybacks continued in FY2027: its Form 10-Q for Q2 FY2027 says it repurchased 203 million shares for USD 39.8 billion in the first half of that year.[1] At 26 Jul 2026, NVIDIA was authorised, subject to certain specifications, to repurchase up to USD 99.3 billion of its common stock.[1]
Our methodology for free cash flow sets out the formula behind these figures. The PepsiCo stock fundamentals page shows the same cash flow lines for a company that makes food and drinks.

- Source documents
- Forms 10-Q (Q3 FY2024 to Q2 FY2027) and 10-K (FY2019 to FY2026)
- Period covered
- 8 quarters and 5 fiscal years
- Calculations
- TTM = sum of the last 4 quarters. Q4 = fiscal year minus the nine-month YTD. Margins = line item ÷ revenue. FCF = cash from operations − capital expenditure. EBITDA = operating income + depreciation and amortisation (our calculation). Net debt = total debt − cash and short-term investments. CAGR = compound annual growth over three fiscal years.
- Restatements
- None in the periods shown.
- Comparator
- Each profile row compares the current value with NVIDIA's own last five fiscal years, FY2022 to FY2026: the median of those five years and their range, from the lowest to the highest. A current value outside that range is drawn just past the end of the strip. Fewer than 5 covered peers exist, so there is no sector median yet.
- Currency
