What the numbers show
Intel's income statement for Q2 FY2026, the quarter ended 27 Jun 2026, shows revenue of USD 16.1 billion, up 25.4% on Q2 FY2025. Operating income was USD 1.80 billion, an operating margin of 11.1%, our calculation. Net income attributable to Intel was negative USD 11.0 billion, with pre-tax income at negative USD 10.8 billion, so the loss opens between operating income and pre-tax income.
Revenue was USD 52.9 billion in FY2025 against USD 79.0 billion in FY2021, a fall of 9.6% a year, our calculation. Gross margin fell from 55.4% to 34.8% over the same run. FY2022 ran 53 weeks, so two growth rates carry a note. The Q4 cells are our derivation: the 10-K year less the first three quarters.
Intel's balance sheet held total assets of USD 202 billion at 27 Jun 2026. Net property, plant and equipment, USD 106 billion, is more than half of that, against USD 63.2 billion at the end of FY2021. Equity attributable to Intel stockholders was USD 87.5 billion at 27 Jun 2026, against USD 114 billion at 27 Dec 2025 and USD 95.4 billion at the end of FY2021.
Total liabilities were USD 99.3 billion at 27 Jun 2026, against USD 80.3 billion at 28 Mar 2026. Total debt, short-term plus long-term borrowings, was USD 50.5 billion, up from USD 45.0 billion a quarter earlier. At the end of FY2021 it was USD 38.1 billion, and at the end of FY2025 USD 46.6 billion. Current assets exceeded current liabilities at 27 Jun 2026.
In Intel's cash flow statement, cash from operations was USD 9.70 billion in FY2025 against capital expenditure of USD 14.6 billion. Free cash flow, our calculation, was negative USD 4.95 billion. Capital expenditure was above cash from operations in each of FY2022 to FY2025 and below it in FY2021, when the two were USD 29.5 billion and USD 18.7 billion. Net income attributable to Intel was negative in FY2025 while cash from operations was positive.
A 10-Q reports cash flows year to date, so cells marked D are our derivations, and how to read a 10-Q explains the layout. In Q2 FY2026 cash from operations was USD 7.01 billion, capital expenditure USD 2.56 billion and free cash flow USD 4.45 billion, against negative USD 2.54 billion in Q1 FY2026. Diluted EPS was negative USD 2.16 per share in Q2 FY2026 on 5,104 million shares. Intel stock fundamentals covers the restated FY2021 cash flow cells and net debt.

How we got these numbers
Every figure comes from Intel's Forms 10-Q and 10-K as filed with the SEC. Derived values are marked D and explained below.
Full method for this page
- Source documents
- Forms 10-Q (Q3 FY2024 to Q2 FY2026) and 10-K (FY2021 to FY2025)
- Period covered
- 8 quarters and 5 fiscal years
- Calculations
- TTM = sum of the last 4 quarters. Q4 = fiscal year minus the nine-month YTD. Margins = line item ÷ revenue. FCF = cash from operations − capital expenditure. CAGR = compound annual growth across the annual table.
- Restatements
- FY2021 cash from operations, an input of the FY2021 ratio, was restated in Form 10-K filed (originally USD 29,991 m). Restated figures carry the R marker; its footnote gives the originally reported value.
