JPMorgan Chase's Q2 2026 Form 10-Q puts other income, one of its non-interest income lines, at USD 7,549 million, against USD 1,154 million in Q2 2025.[1] Besides the Visa gain, recognised on 11 May 2026, it included USD 1,026 million of gains on certain equity investments.[1] Net interest income went from USD 23.2 billion in Q2 2025 to USD 25.5 billion in Q2 2026.

The decline of 10.5% in JPMorgan Chase's total net revenue for Q2 2025 is measured against Q2 2024. Other income in Q2 2024 included an initial gain of USD 7,990 million on the Visa share exchange.[12]

For a bank, cash from operations includes changes in trading assets, loans held for sale and other balance-sheet items, so it can be large and negative. It is not comparable with a non-financial company's, and we do not show free cash flow for banks.

Repurchases fell from USD 18.4 billion in FY2021 to USD 3.16 billion in FY2022, then rose in each of the next 3 years. Dividends paid went from USD 12.9 billion in FY2021 to USD 16.6 billion in FY2025. The 10-K labels the repurchase line treasury stock repurchased, and both outflows sit under financing activities.[3]

JPMorgan Chase's cash flow statement counts changes in trading assets, securities borrowed and other balance-sheet items inside operating activities.[3] In FY2025, the change in trading assets alone was an outflow of USD 156,461 million.[3] That one line was larger than the whole FY2025 operating outflow of USD 147,782 million. Cash from operations was an inflow in each of FY2021 to FY2023.

Why did JPMorgan Chase revise its 2020 total net revenue in the 10-K filed 22 Feb 2022?

JPMorgan Chase revised its FY2020 total net revenue after reclassifying certain deferred investment tax credits in the first quarter of 2021, with no effect on net income.[11] Its FY2021 Form 10-K, filed 22 Feb 2022, shows USD 119,951 million for 2020.[11] The FY2020 Form 10-K had reported USD 119,543 million.[15]

The FY2021 change in total net revenue, a rise of 1.4% by our calculation, carries the R marker. It is measured from the revised USD 119,951 million.[11] Its footnote gives the amount first reported and both filing dates. We use the latest value a filing reports for each period, as our rules for restated figures set out.

The reclassification raised other income, part of non-interest income, and income tax expense by matching amounts.[11] The FY2021 report puts 2020 non-interest income at USD 65,388 million.[11] The FY2020 report had shown USD 64,980 million.[15] Both reports put 2020 net interest income at USD 54,563 million.[11][15]

Our dataset also marks earlier revisions to FY2018 and FY2019 lines, among them non-interest income, operating expenses and cash flows. Our guide on how to read a 10-K explains how a later 10-K can print an earlier year differently. The AT&T stock fundamentals page also covers earlier-year figures that later filings changed.

How we got these numbers

Every figure comes from JPMorgan Chase's Forms 10-Q and 10-K as filed with the SEC. Derived values are marked D and explained below.

8 quarters and 5 fiscal years
Calculations
TTM = sum of the last 4 quarters. Q4 = fiscal year minus the nine-month YTD. Total net revenue = net interest income + non-interest income. Cost-to-income = operating expenses ÷ total net revenue (our calculation). CAGR = compound annual growth over three fiscal years.
Restatements
FY2020 total net revenue, the base of the FY2021 YoY change, was restated in Form 10-K filed (originally USD 119,543 m).
Comparator
Each profile row compares the current value with JPMorgan Chase's own last five fiscal years, FY2021 to FY2025: the median of those five years and their range, from the lowest to the highest. A current value outside that range is drawn just past the end of the strip. Fewer than 5 covered peers exist, so there is no sector median yet.
